SOUND IMMERSION

Join us at this sound based healing meditation. utilizing many different tools these practitioners connect with the participants through Reiki, plant essences, tuning forks, and overtone emitting instruments like gongs and singing bowls. Inside of this fully immersive experience, individual attention will be given to you while the overall sound continues. 

Together we create the conditions where you can relax into deep brainwave states. In these states the impediments (like the monkey mind) to accessing your own inner healer are removed leaving you open to greater awareness, clarity, well being and insight.

We will use diffusers and atomizers for sharing oil blends at designed for relaxation, journeying and grounding throughout the experience.

After the session there will be some time to fully step back into your bodies, share experiences or ask questions. Raw chocolate will be shared to help reground at the end of the session.

*note please bring a mat & blanket to be comfortable if you wish to lay down, Pillows or rolled towels are also helpful.

Practitioner bios:

Basia is a classically trained flutist and has been a professional musician for over 20 years. Her passion for music expanded beyond performing and teaching,as she developed profound interest in learning about healing and transformational affects of sound, music and energy. Basia has studied different modalities of sound healing and earned a sound practitioner certification from New York's Open Center. She is also Reiki practitioner.

Michael Jay is a health coach who has studied shiatsu with Ohashi, tuning forks in the Acutonics system and other healing modalities including EFT and Reiki. He is committed to using sound for its immense healing power and has been studying with and assisting the Grand GongMaster Don Conreaux in his N.Y. workshops., and has also assisted at the Open Center in their 2015/16 Sound And Music Institute program. Michael is also the catalyst for multifaceted sound based collective SVAHA (Sound Vision Alchemy for Harmonic Attunement)

Joseph Schmidlin is a classical Osteopath with over 25 years of training, teaching and practice in the field of energy medicine including Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Ayurveda. He utilizes Sonic Vibrational Medicine in his practice and frequently leads sound baths and meditations.

Luana DeAngelis is a musician and composer with many gifts and life-long trainings in the healing arts. For the past 12 years Luana has provided both the model, and the strong leadership needed to mobilize our system from treatment of disease to prevention through the work she created at www.YouCanThrive.org. Her experience in sound utilizing gong, tuning forks and other instruments are enhanced with her other tools including Reiki Master Teacher, essential oils expert, Theta Healing, and one year training in Integrative therapies including restorative yoga. She works with doctors in the operating room to provide Reiki to those undergoing surgery for cancer. Her experience and energy makes her perfect addition for our group collaboration in sound and energy alchemy.
