The B/Sider is a storytelling series that celebrates life-long creators. Our stories are about finding substance and an edgier groove in life, rather than chasing fame, follows, or what's marketably hot. Founded by former pop singer-turned-storyteller, Petra Hanson, and co-produced with Emmy-winning writer/producer, Laurel Lindahl, The B/Sider features curated stories from all walks of life, all meant to delight and inspire both live audiences and podcast fans worldwide.
Remember when downtown NY was edgy? We're bringing back the underground—OG style—in an iconic theater space located in the original rocker-stomping-ground, The East Village.
Join us for The B/Sider Live Storytelling Series debut in NYC, hosted by NPR's rockstar comedian, Ophira Eisenberg! Our show theme, JUST FOR THE RECORD, is a rare night of music and true stories told by veterans of The Moth Mainstage, a Fellini movie extra-turned-astrologist, and former back-up singers and songwriters who've created genius tracks on both sides of the record.
