Over 150 people gathered at Ideal Glass Gallery to celebrate Elvis on the 30th anniversary of his passing, August 16th 2007. Jelvis (www.jewishelvis.com) hosted the evening of cross-cultural and experimental Elvis inspired live music. The event, as featured in NY1, THE VILLAGER and covered in THE VILLAGE VOICE opened the multi-media exhibition Elvis Has Left The Building, also curated by Willard Morgan. The event united visual and performance artists from as many disciplinary and cultural backgrounds as possible with generations of Elvis fans in the interest of world peace through the Gospel of Rock n’ Roll.
